Training the upper back is a fundamental part of strength training. The muscles that make up the „back” are complex and perform various movements in conjunction with the upper arms. Their primary function is to pull the arms backward from an extended position, either downward or inward.
In order to more accurately target different areas of the back, we have created a machine that emphasizes the three main hand positions: underhand, overhand, and neutral. By using a fixed hand position, the strength coach determines which protocol is applied to the athletes, making the training protocol more measurable, which is key to effective training.
